 Francesco Barberini (Osimo AN 1959 )
composer and jazz guitar player, leaves in Florence. He teaches guitar and
plays both as composer and leader of his jazz
quintet.
As composer, in 1997 , he recorded the
album Quattroquinti
published by Splasc(h)
Records (CD H643.2 distributed by IRD). This album includes a quartet composed
by: Stefano D'Anna saxes,
Stefano Bollani
piano, Lello Pareti double bass
and Walter Paoli
drums.
A
s guitar player he has also played with the pianist Luca Flores.
Since 1995 he has studied and adopted
only the DAEGAB guitar tuning leaving definitively the
traditional tuning.
