Starting musical studies at the age of 8, he has degreed in classical
guitar with maximum and laude and jazz guitar with maximum in the Conservatorio
G.Verdi of Torino (IT). He did many workshops (SienaJazz, RomaJazz and others) and
he joint the research lab with Stefano Battaglia. He did masterclasses with: Frank
Gambale, Anders Jormin, Lionel Loueke, John Taylor, Eric Harland, Franco D’andrea,
Michael Blake and others. Now he is developing an artistic research work at HSM
(Music department in Göteborg University) in Göteborg (SE).
He played in several festivals (TorinoJazzFestival, PiossascoJazzFestival,
AviglianaJazzFestival, CopenhagenWinterJazzFestival, SirenFestival and others) and
theaters/clubs (Teatro Parenti (MI), JazzClubTorino (TO), Teatro Vittoria (TO),
Palazzo Grassi (VE), Teatro Conservatorio G.Verdi (TO) and many others) between
jazz, classical and contemporary performance. He had the chance to play with musicians
as Andy Sheppard, Furio Di Castri, Achille Succi, Diana Torto, Mary Halvorson, Antony
Braxton, Gavino Murgia and others.
He collaborates with Torino jazz musicians scene having projects
with Ivan Bert, Gilson Silveira, Paolo Franciscone, Alfredo Ponissi, Gaetano Fasano,
Luigi Tessarollo and many others. He published a composition work for Berben: “Breadcrumbs"
and a recording in trio with Diana Torto and Achille Succi for the label Honolulu
called “Corale”.
