Talea, is a multicultural musical progect since 1999.
In our musical language, we fuse balkan with westerly culture.
All the repertory is from balkan musical culture(Albania, Bosnia, Macedonia, Romania). A marked ethnic flavour is expressed by the very pressing rythmical flow and by the fascinating melodic development. On the other side a evident westerly flavour is accentuated by the soloists that, in their improvisations, exceed the limits into the jazz field.
The jazz experiences make a frame to the traditional melodies sung by the singers.
In our live performances the audiance ever enjoy very much because of the athmosphere is like a party in a wedding day.
