Nicola Fazzini

 Nicola was born in Milan in 1970 but grew up
in the Veneto. He studied in Graz (Austria) at the Musikhochschule Jazz Department
from 1992 to 1997
where he graduated (B.M.) in Saxophone. He also graduated (Jazz Diploma) from the
Castelfranco Veneto G. Steffani Conservatory with full marks.
He's now Director of the Thelonious Monk School of Music, a prestigious institution
located in Mira (Venezia), and Artistic Director of the JAM Jazz Festival.
Nicola recorded more than 20 albums, 5 as bandleader, with Italian labels (Splas(h),
Caligola, Blue Serge, nBn, Artesuono, Radar) and with a German label (Jazz & Arts).
He's been performing with

Nicola has performed at jazz festivals and venues in Italy, Austria, France, Germany,
Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Hungary, Peru and the United States.
