All musicians are Sinti-Gipsy’s, who have a strong family bond throughout the whole of Europe. The musicians are all cousins, playing with each other from childhood on and therefore they manage to perform with an unique bond.

Their musical skills have their roots in the Hot Club de France tradition. After a while they traditional Hungarian and Spanish Gipsy influences were incorporated and combined with more contemporary jazz.

Their music has been released on three cd’s, on their latest album they featured famous Dutch jazz piano player Beets. The arrangements and their own compositions on this cd give rise to a unique and refreshing sound.

Their inspiring performance on stage leaves their audiences breathless. Basily has a great reputation in Holland and throughout Europe, performing at many events, theaters, jazz and Gipsy festivals.

Basily appeared, among other festivals, at the Gipsy festival in Munich together with Stephane Grappelli, the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland, the Jak festival in Indonesia and the Bergen festival in Norway. They also did a lot of of TV and radio broadcasts all over Europe.
