* Graduated in saxophone at the Conservatory "S. Giacomantonio "of Cosenza in
2004; Course in "Teaching Music" - FOR.COM University
Consortium in 2007; BI.FOR.DOC. (Biennio Formazione
Docenti) at the Conservatory "S. Giacomantonio " of Cosenza in
2011.
* Teaching: Since 2007 is professor of saxophone
at the school in musical direction of Calabria. Since 2007
he has been Director of Music "Nuove Armonie" by Paola. He has taught and teaches
saxophone and jazz theory and practice of improvisation in various private schools
in Calabria. He has taught in courses within the Propaedeutics Jazz Festival "Jazz
in Paola" editions 2008,
2009, 2010
e 2011 organized by the Department of Jazz at
the Conservatory of Cosenza. Since 2010 he is
tutor of saxophone and music ensemble at the Jazz Department of the Conservatory
"S. Giacomantonio" of Cosenza. He held, in collaboration with Nicola Pisani, the
Masterclass "Musica d'insieme e Orche...strana" for the festival "Paola in Jazz"
edition 2011 and at the festival "Note Sparse"
edition 2011 held in Corigliano Calabro.
* Seminars and workshops: He attended the seminar "Improvvisazione Jazz" held by
Achille Succi and "Musica d'insieme Jazz" held by
Enrico Rava
at the "Festival Roccella Jazz" edition 2004.
He attended the seminar "Armonia ed Improvvisazione Jazz" held by Bob Mintzer in
the third edition of "Lamezia Jazz Festival" edition 2005.
She has attended seminars on "Tecniche di improvvisazione" at the Conservatory of
Cosenza "S. Giacomantonio " with Ettore Fioravanti and Felice Mezzina in
2005, with Marco Sannini in
2006, with Marc Bernstein in
2010. In 2011
followed the seminar "L'arte dell'improvvisazione" held by Nicola Pisani in the
Auditorium of "Sant'Agostino" in Paola (CS).
* Collaboration: he has collaborated with number of musicians including jazz
scene Tino Tracanna,
Marco Tamburini, Nicola Pisani, Achille Succi,
Max Ionata,
Umberto Napolitano,
Felice Clemente,
Giuseppe Bassi,
Pietro Condorelli,
Joe Amoruso, Bruno Luise, Crystal White,
Gegè Telesforo,
Rosa Martirano and Daniela D'Ercole.
* Experience in Orchestras and Jazz Big Band: from 2004
to 2008 he was tenor sax in the Jazz Big Band
of the Conservatory of Cosenza directed by Nicola Pisani. In the
2010 and 2011
edition of the Festival "Paola in Jazz" was tenor sax of the 'European Project Orchestral
", directed by Nicola Pisani. Collaborated and worked with various bands starting
from classical music (Wind Orchestra of the Conservatory "S. Giacomantonio" of Cosenza,
symphonic band) up to the pop music (Film Award "Ligeia" - Lamezia Terme edition
2007 with the singer Federico Zampaglione of
the group" Tiromancino ", Monte Carlo Orchestra of the television show "Una domenica
così" edition 2007-08). Since
2007 he directs the Wind Orchestra "San Francesco
di Paola".
