l'album "Thorn" (registrato come "Evan" a New York) e co-prodotto dallo stesso Jack.
THEY SAID:
"It was a great pleasure to record with Antonio. We had met and played together
for the first time in 1999. I love his touch and his vivacious playing. He wrote
beautiful pieces for this occasion and Jack and Joe contributed so much poise and
focus, the result is a spirited and organic musical conversation."
IRA COLEMAN
"It was a pleasure playing with Antonio and doing his music on this cd. He is
a really good writer, composer and improviser and along with Joe Lovano and Ira
Coleman we all had a great time."
JACK DEJOHNETTE
"It was a thrill for me to participate and contribute my idea's within this special
quartet Antonio has put together to explore his music... His compositions are rich
and full of wonder full twists and turns that open the door for creative expression...
I feel we captured the essence of each piece in a very personal way and that's what
it's all about..."
