Carlo Bernardinello
A polyhedric and versatile drummer, both in the professional and artistic sector.
He is born in Italy – Galliate – on the 12th January 1958.
During the ’80s he begins his collaboration with many musicians and arranges. The professional activity, which starts in 1976, gives him the opportunity to play and tour with many singers in various Countries and Continents.
He could grow up with and within the Big Bands of Capolinea directed by Attilio Donadio and Giorgio Baiocco, P. Gosio and Gianni Dosio; in the Fabio Treves blues band, Vigliano Biella Jazz B. and Wally’s B. Band .
He recorded various TV and radio broadcasts for Tele Alt’Italia, Antenna 3 Lombardia,
Rete 4, Radio Svizzera Italiana and Radio RAI.

In 1988 he went touring with Raimondo Campisi, in the “Classic and Jazz Tour”, for the Teatro Massimo of Palermo.
He has been present in the most important Italian Jazz Festivals: Siena Jazz (90 , 02), Latin Night Festival, Varese (90), Verona (91, 92), L'Aquila (91, 92), Milano (92, 93), Lago di Mergozzo Jazz and Lago Maggiore Jazz (99), Verbania (98, 99, 00, 01, 02), Locarno (99), Como (99, 01, 02) Milano Rosetum (00 - 01), Brescia Jazz (00).
On August 1994 he took part in the “ Art Festival ” in Sussex - England.
Musical Projects :
From1986 to 1991 he is member of an outstanding fusion jazz band: Kalliope, with Claudio Allifranchini, Bob De Fara, Danilo Minotti, Riccardo Fioravanti, Giancarlo Porro, Moreno Fassi, Fernando Brusco.
In 1988 he is among the permanent musicians of “ The Bridge ”: a jazz fusion band with Alberto Barattini, Fabio De March, Luigi Tognoli
In 1988, together with Renato Pompilio and Fabio De March, he sets up “TRIO ELECTRICO”.
In1993, he spends a short period in the United States playing at the “Little Five Points ” in Atlanta, and with the Chris Adams band. He attends the Drummers Collettive in New York .
Since 2001, he is a musician of the Alberto Traversi Quartet, with whom he realizes the CD “ The Art of Swing “, brought out in November 2005.
During 2001 he was asked by saxophonist Gigi Di Gregorio to participate at a musical project of Corrado Abbate, with Roberto Giolito and Danilo Pala; under the name of Jazzcom they realize the CD “Stultifera Navis” 2005
He is the conceiver of the DRUM HISTORY EVENTS, a project composed of a trio of drummers – among whom Stefano Bagnoli and Giorgio Di Tullio - with the aim of going over and through the drums history in jazz.
In november 2006 Carlo realized the musical project “ Mallets, brushes and … more “ tour guest star Mike Mainieri, it obtained a great success.

DIDACTICS
He attended and taught at the Drumtech in London during summer 2001.
He can be considered an innovator of the musical didactics: his method has the purpose of a gradual study education.
