Chicago Jazz Vocalist, Tammy McCann, will make her long-awaited New York
City debut this summer with major performances at five of of the city's most prestigious
jazz clubs in July. She will be accompanied by a very select NYC All-Star Band,
comprised of Bruce Barth (piano), Richie Goods (bass), Steve Williams (drums), and
Joel Frahm (saxophone) and will be celebrating the recent release of her latest
CD, Never Let Me Go. Tammy is an internationally experienced vocalist
whose powerful, soulful, and versatile voice has been described in the Chicago Tribune
as ".....a voice that soars in all registers, at all tempos, and on all occasions."
The legendary pianist and composer, Ramsey Lewis has said of her: "For all those
who like songs from the great
American Songbook sung by a talented performer who knows how to get the most out
of them, check out Tammy McCann!".

Tammy has collaborated with many extraordinary musicians and ensembles during her
career, including Von Freeman, The Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Les McCann, Ramsey Lewis and the
great Ray Charles. Her majestic voice has been heard in concert halls throughout
Europe and Russia, and her engagements in clubs and concerts in Chicago are consistently
"standing room only", where she has been described at "the next great voice coming
out of Chicago". And now it is time
for New York to hear this extraordinary voice during her engagements in the "Big
Apple!!
